The Good News Of Jesus Christ
The gospel is the good news that God saves sinners through Jesus Christ. It is not about earning God’s love, cleaning ourselves up first, or becoming religious enough to qualify. It is about God’s grace, our need, Jesus’ sacrifice, His resurrection, and the new life He gives to all who trust in Him.
God Came Near
The gospel begins with God’s mercy and love. He did not leave us without hope.
We Need Saving
Sin separates us from God, and we cannot rescue ourselves by effort, goodness, or performance.
Christ Is Enough
Jesus died for sin, rose again, and offers forgiveness, grace, and eternal life.
God’s Love. Our Need. Jesus’ Sacrifice. Grace Through Faith.
The gospel is simple enough to explain clearly, but deep enough to shape the whole Christian life. These truths help keep the message centered on Christ.
God Created Us For Himself
We were made to know God, worship Him, love Him, and live in fellowship with Him.
Sin Broke Fellowship With God
Sin is not just a mistake or weakness. It is rebellion against God, and it separates us from Him.
We Cannot Save Ourselves
Good works, religion, effort, and intentions cannot remove sin or make us right with God.
Jesus Came To Save
Jesus, the Son of God, came in the flesh, lived without sin, and revealed the heart and truth of God.
Jesus Died And Rose Again
On the cross, Jesus bore sin. In His resurrection, He defeated death and proved His saving power.
We Receive Grace Through Faith
Salvation is a gift of grace, received by trusting in Christ — not by earning our way to God.
Jesus Took What We Deserved
The cross shows both the seriousness of sin and the greatness of God’s love. Jesus did not die because people misunderstood Him. He gave His life as the sacrifice for sin, taking the judgment we deserved so we could be forgiven and reconciled to God.
The gospel is not “try harder and maybe God will accept you.” The gospel is that Jesus has done what we could never do for ourselves.
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
The cross is not proof that we were almost good enough. It is proof that God is merciful.
Salvation Is A Gift, Not A Trophy
The gospel humbles us because we cannot boast in ourselves. It comforts us because salvation rests on Christ, not on our ability to hold everything together with spiritual duct tape.
Grace Means Undeserved Mercy
God does not save us because we earned it. He saves by His mercy through Jesus Christ.
Faith Means Trusting Christ
Faith is not trusting our goodness. It is trusting who Jesus is and what He has done.
Repentance Means Turning To God
Repentance is turning from sin and turning toward God with humility, trust, and surrender.
New Life Means A Changed Direction
Jesus does not only forgive. He gives new life, new hope, and a new way to walk.
The Gospel Leads Us To Jesus
Fourteen6 is rooted in John 14:6 because the gospel is centered on Christ. Jesus is not merely a helper on the way to God. He is the Way. He is not merely one teacher among many. He is the Truth. He does not merely improve life. He is the Life.
The gospel is not a side topic. It is the good news that brings us to the Father through Jesus Christ.
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”
The good news is not vague hope. It is found in Jesus Himself.
Come To Christ With Faith
The gospel calls for a response: not performance, not pretending, not religious polish — but repentance, faith, and trust in Jesus Christ.
Believe The Good News
Trust that Jesus is who Scripture says He is and that He has done what sinners need most.
Turn From Sin
Bring sin into the light. Repentance means turning from self-rule and turning toward God.
Follow Jesus
Faith in Christ leads to a new direction — following Him as Lord, Savior, and King.
